Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I believe this combo is called Hokkien Lor? It was soooo tasty I could have demolished the whole bowl but I was on a foodie tour with lots more stops to go. If you aren't local be informed there are two dining rooms but you order from the kitchen a few doors down. Look for Green House prawn mee sign."
"Such a comfort food for supper and maybe a meal for hangover cure after clubbing"
"Old school traditional congee place with a wide selection of your favourite congee pairings, like taoju, black bean dace and an assortment of pickled vegetables. Food taste is real! Authentic home cooked style, and the bains are kept hot and relatively hygienic, which is a plus. Place opens really late too. Pricing is a little high - RM12 for a meat and two veg with drink is standard fare for economy rice/porridge these days I suppose. Service is typical old school Asian, so non-existent. Plenty of parking just on the left down past the shops, but it's Malaysia so just go ahead and block up the main road and stop your car in front of the shop by all means, baby! Overall green eggs and ham approval."
"Delicious dishes. The sweet potato in the porridge is big chunk. All taste good. Takeaway Fish, pork belly, steamed minced meat, taukua, curry clam, fried egg with bittergourd, 5 porridge 6 dishes all rm65. Reasonably priced."
"Many variety of dishes. They have the regular and seasonal assorted dishes for the sweet potato porridge"
"Went here on a morning food tour rate the broth 5 star"
"My favourite but now it’s closed, only sell noodles for now"
"Absolutely sensational chicken rice being offered here with a very affordable price"
